VP Declares War On Cartels

He wants them out of the U.S.

At the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Maryland, Vice President JD Vance delivered a strong statement targeting drug cartels and human traffickers, asserting that they need to be expelled from the United States. Vance made it clear that these groups are no longer welcome and that their operations will no longer be tolerated under the leadership of President Trump, who, he stated, will take a hard stance against such activities.

Vance specifically addressed drug traffickers, declaring that their “free ride” in the U.S. was over with Trump back in office. He also directly referenced the drug cartels, which Trump has previously labeled as “terrorist organizations,” pledging that the U.S. will take aggressive action to eliminate them and prevent their further operations in the country.

This statement is tied to an executive order that Trump signed last month, officially designating drug cartels as terrorist groups. The order underscores the serious threat these cartels pose not only to American citizens’ safety but also to the broader security of the U.S. and its international relations, particularly in the Western Hemisphere.

The executive order outlines the detrimental impact of cartel activities, which include drug trafficking, human trafficking, and other illegal operations that undermine the stability and safety of both the U.S. and its neighbors. This designation gives the U.S. government additional legal tools to combat the cartels and their influence more directly.

Vance’s remarks reflect the administration’s firm stance on cracking down on criminal organizations, aligning with broader efforts to enhance national security and reduce illegal activities. The focus is now on ensuring that these criminal enterprises no longer thrive in the U.S. under the current administration’s policies.
