President Donald Trump has no plans to speak with Tesla CEO Elon Musk to resolve their recent public disagreement, according to a senior White House official. The two wealthy businessmen clashed over Musk’s criticism of Trump’s proposed tax bill, which is currently being reviewed in the Senate.
The conflict intensified after Trump called Musk “crazy” and threatened to cancel federal contracts with Musk’s companies, including SpaceX. Musk responded by claiming that his financial support had been crucial to Trump’s election and accused the former president of being ungrateful.
