Steelers Legends Make Bold Honor Official

An ‘honorary steeler’ was revealed.

Former President Donald Trump received an enthusiastic reception from steelworkers during a visit to West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, where he was honored with a personalized jersey by members of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The presentation took place on stage, where Trump was joined by quarterback Mason Rudolph, safety Miles Killebrew, and Steelers legend and Super Bowl champion Rocky Bleier.

Bleier took the lead in presenting the jersey, stating that it was his privilege to make Trump an honorary member of the team. The moment was marked by cheers and applause from those in attendance.

Trump offered high praise for Rudolph, calling him a promising talent with strong potential in the NFL. He remarked on the quarterback’s physical attributes and skillset, suggesting Rudolph was poised for greater opportunities on the field.

Although Trump reserved his compliments about appearance for Rudolph, he described Killebrew in more fitting terms for a defender, calling him a “killer” — a nod to the player’s hard-hitting reputation on the field.

The event blended political enthusiasm with football fanfare, as Trump connected with local workers and sports figures in a region known for its steel heritage and passionate support of the Steelers.
