NFL Social Justice Warrior Goes Off The Deep End

He’s off his rocker.

Chris Kluwe, a former NFL punter, was recently arrested after protesting a city council meeting in California. The protest stemmed from his objection to a plaque at a local library displaying the acronym ‘MAGA,’ which he likened to Nazi Germany. Kluwe’s comments drew attention, and after he was removed from the meeting by police, he appeared on CNN to discuss his views.

During his interview, Kluwe, a political science and history major, argued that the U.S. is following a dangerous path similar to Nazi Germany. He claimed that the parallels between the two situations are evident and expressed his belief that it’s his duty as an American citizen to speak out and use his privilege to push for equality and justice.

In addition to criticizing the MAGA movement, Kluwe also pointed out that many of those who supported Donald Trump in the 2024 election might have been misled. He compared Trump to Hitler, suggesting that just as many Germans believed Hitler acted in their best interests, many Americans mistakenly think Trump has their best interests in mind, despite evidence to the contrary.

Kluwe has also discussed how his activism may have negatively impacted his career in the NFL. Reflecting on his exit from the league, he noted that taking a stand for a cause often comes with consequences, no matter how righteous the cause may be. This experience, he believes, highlights the price many pay for speaking out.
