Mugshot For UnitedHealthcare Suspect Revealed

They caught him.

Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old man accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, was pictured for the first time in an orange jumpsuit following his arrest. Mangione was apprehended on Monday at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania, after a nationwide five-day manhunt. The arrest came after Thompson, 50, was shot from behind while walking outside a New York City Hilton hotel ahead of a shareholder conference.

A New York arrest warrant obtained by Fox News Digital on Tuesday confirmed that Thompson died from a gunshot wound to the torso. According to the warrant, Mangione allegedly fired multiple shots at Thompson, causing him to fall to the ground. Thompson, who had been appointed CEO of UnitedHealthcare in April 2021, is survived by his wife, Paulette, and their two children.

The warrant also provided new details about Mangione’s arrest and what authorities found in his possession. When detained, Mangione presented a forged New Jersey driver’s license under the name “Mark Rosario,” which matched the identification he had used earlier at a hostel. In addition, police discovered a semi-automatic pistol, believed to be modified with a 3D printed receiver, along with a metal slide and silencer. The warrant also mentioned that Mangione had written admissions regarding the crime, although specifics about these statements have not been made public.

Mangione faces multiple charges, including second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of a forged instrument.
