Biggest Migrant Colony Raid Nabs 118 Illegal Aliens

It was a massive operation.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), along with state and local law enforcement, arrested 118 individuals during an immigration raid in the Colony Ridge Subdivision near Houston, Texas. The operation involved multiple agencies and targeted individuals with various criminal charges and convictions, according to ICE officials.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who had coordinated with former Border Czar Tom Homan for months, announced the raids. The individuals arrested during the raid, which took place in a 30,000-acre subdivision, faced charges ranging from sexual assault and homicide to theft, child sexual abuse, weapons offenses, and drug-related crimes.

One of the arrests involved Florentin Chevez-Luna, a Salvadoran national who had been deported three times and was wanted for repeated sexual abuse of a child in Plum Grove, Texas. ICE officials highlighted that operations like this are part of their routine enforcement efforts to enhance public safety and national security.

Another individual arrested was a seven-time deported Salvadoran, allegedly connected to MS-13, who was charged with murder on the day of the operation. Colony Ridge, located in Liberty County, has been the focus of media reports due to its large population of undocumented migrants and concerns about criminal activity in the area.

Previously, in mid-February, law enforcement arrested three deported illegal aliens in a traffic stop in the same area, leading to the discovery of nearly 350 pounds of methamphetamine in a trailer. The bust was part of a larger investigation into criminal activities linked to illegal migrants in the subdivision.
